Attention Pre-Health Leaders! The Associated Students of the University of Washington (ASUW) is your student government where students are serving students. We are currently hiring, and the Director of the Student Health Consortium (SHC) position for 2011-12 is now OPEN! The SHC provides resources to all of the health-oriented student organizations and promotes health on campus. Some events we’ve helped to organize this year include the 1st annual Pre-Health Affair, the Everybody Every Body Fashion Show, several suture and casting clinics, Be(You)tiful: an expert panel on eating disorders and body image, the Health Leaders Forum, Health Leaders’ Retreat, and the upcoming 1st annual UW Women’s Health Week in May.
