LECOM Distance Education Pathway for PharmD

The distance education pathway is a four-year PharmD program that will mirror the curriculum of the traditional four-year PharmD program in Bradenton, FL. This program consists of a majority of the coursework being completed at home. A majority of the curriculum will be able to be completed based on the availability of the student. However, tests must be taken according to a pre-determined schedule at testing locations associated with the National College Testing Association (NCTA) . Additionally, orientation and summer sessions will require students to travel to the Bradenton, Florida LECOM campus. Lastly, a synchronous learning schedule will be published prior to the start of each semester so that students will have plenty of time to arrange their lives around the limited amount of required attendance hours. Traditionally, LECOM students have enjoyed high board exam pass rates, demonstrating that they have gained a great education at a reasonable cost. Our vision is focused on producing highly-skilled pharmacy clinicians who can serve as equal partners in the delivery of quality health care. For additional information, you may wish to review an electronic version of LECOM ’s brochure and/or the explanation of entrance requirements available on our website (http://lecom.edu).
