AED Pre-Med Expo this Sunday, April 6th

Join Alpha Epsilon Delta Pre-Medical Honor Society for the 5th Annual Pre-Med Expo on Sunday, April 6. This is AED’s biggest event of the year, all for FREE! You do not want to miss out on this amazing day of presentations and workshops, specifically geared towards students preparing for medical school! Schedule of events: 9:30 – Check-in at Guggenheim 10:00-11:00 – Keynote speech by Dr. Carol Teitz, the Dean of Admissions at UW School of Medicine, in GUG 220. Dr. Teitz will be giving a talk about the UWSOM and what they specifically look for in applicants. 11:30-3:30 – Workshops in Mary Gates Hall. Topics include Interview Preparation, Personal Statement, Application Do’s an Don’ts, Health Care Policies and Reform, Medical Student Panel, Physician Panel, Physician Assistant Panel, Letters of Recommendation, Alternative Medicine, and MCAT 2015 Changes. This event is open to everyone at UW and the general public (including high school students), so please invite your friends if they are considering pre-med as well!
