Lab helper position in Virology lab: A molecular virology lab in Microbiology at the UW is looking for a freshman or sophomore lab helper to work in our lab starting this quarter and continuing through the summer quarter and into next year. Initial duties include general lab maintenance, solution making, plate pouring, and other general tasks necessary for the lab to run. Once proficient at the necessary duties the helper can begin learning lab techniques with the long-term goal of working on a research project. We are looking for someone who is very excited about getting into basic research and microbiology and has time to dedicate to the lab.
