Camp Korey seeking volunteers

Camp Korey is a non-profit organization about an hour outside Seattle, which serves children with serious and life-altering medical conditions and their families at no cost. We offer year-round camp programs with full support of the medical needs of the camper, plus all the fun of just being a kid.

This autumn, we are offering three Fall Family Weekend programs, in which the entire families of campers come to camp and experience the joy, growth and healing together. Families will climb our indoor rock wall, engage in arts and crafts, perform onstage, and much more, all the while creating amazing memories together!
We are looking for some amazing individuals to act as Family Pals to these families. These volunteers will act as camp counselors and ambassadors to Camp Korey by spending the weekend with a specific family. Volunteers will eat meals with them, move through the various activities with them, and have a great weekend themselves!

This is a Friday-Sunday time commitment, and the dates for these programs are listed below:

October 10-12: Reconstructive Pelvic Medicine/Spina Bifida Family Weekend

October 24-26: Metabolic Disorders Family Weekend

November 7-9: Solid Organ Transplant Family Weekend
