Hello Fellow (pre-health) Huskies!
University of Washington Dance Marathon (UWDM) is a RSO and Seattle Children’s Hospital Guild that raises money for Seattle Children’s Hospital’s Uncompensated Care Fund and Research Programs. These funds support many services such as scholarships, Child Life Specialists, and assistance with hospital expenses for families who cannot afford their medical bills. Our biggest event, The Husky Miracle, is in January. Our goal is to raise at least $6,000 for Seattle Children’s Hospital by then.
We’re currently looking for students from all backgrounds to join our team for the 2014-2015 school year! This is a great way to meet new people, raise money for an amazing cause, develop professional skills, and most importantly, have a great time!!
How do you know if UWDM is for you?
- You believe that every child deserves to be healthy.
- You would enjoy assisting or leading fellow students in planning for a big event.
- You have interests or skills in any of the following areas:
- Dancing/Music
- Scheduling/planning
- Activities/Entertainment
- Family/Hospital relations
- Sponsorship/Fundraising
- Public Relations/Advertising
- Social Media/Marketing
