The Program Includes:
Two Semesters of Immersion Spanish Earn six (optional) college credits in Spanish. You will learn faster than you can imagine thanks to tiny class sizes (8 students or less) and the “Spanish everywhere” surroundings.
Cultural & Social Activities (optional) Peruvian cooking classes, salsa dancing, barrio tours, Machu Picchu excursion, & folklore shows.
Health Care Field Experience Up-front view into Cusco’s medical world:
- Shadow doctors in area clinics, including important patient case discussions.
- Guest lecture explaining differences between Peruvian and American health care systems.
- Introduction to Andean medicine: learn about the (still widely used) traditional care – from the local mountain and jungle regions.
- Volunteer days at children’s hospital
$300 flight assistance credit to help with travel expenses.
