Dermatology Arts is a contemporary dermatology practice with locations in downtown Bellevue and Yakima. We are consistently one of the top-rated dermatologist practices in Washington State. We are currently looking for a professional, highly motivated, and experience-driven employee to work as a medical assistant. We have an opening in our Bellevue office looking to start immediately or at the beginning of the summer.
Our medical assistants work side by side with the physicians in our office and are able to gain a great deal of hands-on experience in the medical field. As an MA, you will learn to conduct patient intake interviews, take HPI’s, document medical histories, assist in excisions and biopsies, schedule appointments, receive referrals, send out prescriptions, clean instruments, etc. This is a great opportunity for anyone who is looking to pursue a future career in healthcare. Not only does it allow you to shadow a physician (and get paid while doing it!), but it allows you to learn medical terms and charting. It will also put you one step ahead of other candidates looking to pursue medical school, PA school, nursing school, or other healthcare programs. 4 of our MAs have been admitted to medical school, including 2 at the University of Washington.
This position is best suited for individuals who have graduated or will graduate after spring quarter 2016 and who can commit to one or more years of employment. Prior experience as a medical assistant is not a requirement to apply. You will have the opportunity to earn your MA certification as a part of your training.
