New MSOT Program in Oklahoma, Fall 2012

We are pleased to announce that NSU will be offering a Master of Science (MSOT) degree in Occupational Therapy beginning Fall 2012. The MSOT program will be part of the American Indian School of Health Professions, located in the Department of Health Professions, on NSU’s campus in Muskogee OK. The MSOT is a 30-month program. The curriculum consists of 81 hours and focuses on training high-quality occupational therapists for the rural region of Eastern Oklahoma. In addition to the professional programming within the coursework, cultural sensitivity education to the American Indian’s served in the area is integrated throughout the curriculum. The program meets the requirements of the Accrediation Council for Occupational Therapy Education of the American Occupational Therapy Association for professional accreditation.
