American Physician Scientists Association Annual Meeting 4/20-22

The American Physician Scientists Association (APSA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing resources for aspiring physician scientists, from the undergraduate level and on into professional life.

The 14th annual meeting of APSA will be held in Chicago on April 20-22. They encourage undergraduates and post-bacs to attend the annual meeting and, to assist, they have travel awards and registration waivers!

This year’s annual meeting will provide undergraduates with a unique opportunity to network with burgeoning physician scientists and other highly motivated students.

Undergraduate students will have ample opportunity to ask questions about the application process over the course of the weekend, and are encouraged to apply to be matched with a MD/DO-PhD student mentor for the duration of the conference.

This year’s undergraduate-specific session on Sunday April 22,“The Dos and Don’ts of MSTP Admissions”, will feature combined program directors and advisors: Andrea Amalfitano, DO, PhD, Dianna Milewicz, MD, PhD, and Paul Utz, MD.
