Heart Health Awareness Volunteering Workshop

Are you a health sciences major or someone passionate about heart-health and spreading health awareness through outreach, education and community events?

Check out The Hope Heart Institute-a non-profit based in Bellevue, Washington with more than 50 years of experience with leading research and education regarding cardiovascular disease. The Hope Heart Institute is hosting a Volunteer & Outreach workshop to learn more about volunteering opportunities with The Hope, gain skills in effective community outreach, learn about the importance of spreading heart-health information and get more information about upcoming workshops such as stress management, nutrition, fitness, etc.

Speaker: Kayla Burt, Hope Heart Staff and former UW Husky basketball player will share her story and the importance of increasing awareness of heart disease and preventative tools to the public.
