The American Red Cross is seeking volunteers to assist with their Umoja Resource Group to promote diversity and inclusion by engaging the African-American community in the donation of blood products and increase education and awareness of sickle cell anemia through the recruitment of donors and the organization and staffing of blood drives.
The Umoja Resource Group is a platform for recognizing the contributions of African-American team members, while also providing professional and personal growth opportunities for its members.
