Parking:
Visitors
and patients are encouraged to park in the Triangle Parking Garage across
the street directly in front of the hospital and enter through the front
entrance. The "Main" floor of the hospital is in reality the third
floor of the building. Parking is validated at the clinic check-in
desk for all patients. At this time, the cost of validated parking
is a maximum of $4.
Registration:
If
you have never been a patient at the UWMC or it has been over one year
since your last visit, you must register with the hospital at the patient
registration desk BEFORE coming to the clinic. You must also have
a current patient identification card (Ucard). Your registration
and the making of your Ucard will only take about 20 minutes. By
doing so, a hospital record will be generated for your care and your information
will be updated accordingly. Clinic registration is located just
left of the main entrance on the main floor.
The
Clinic:
The
clinic is located within the Maternal
and Infant Care Clinic (MICC) on the Main Floor. After registering,
you will need to check in at the front desk of the MICC. The MICC
is at the western end of the main floor lobby and may be found by following
the overhead signs.
