Scholarship Information
Scholarship funds will be available this year to fund registration,
travel and lodging for 2-3 participants. Scholarship recipients will be
selected by the Course Directors on the basis of financial need and
relevance of the course to their career in STD/HIV
research. We expect competition for these scholarships to be intense, so we
recommend that prospective participants seek external resources to attend
the course whenever possible. Interested scholarship applicants should
include with their application a statement documenting financial need, and
a description (not to exceed one page, double-spaced) of how the course
will contribute to their development as a researcher in the STD/HIV
field.
University Credit
University of Washington academic credit is available for matriculated students
(3 credits). If university course credit is desired, please indicate this on
the application form. Students taking this course for credit hours must
complete the Principles Course application and be enrolled for summer quarter.
