Cynthia is a chef and author of Feeding the Young Athlete: Sports Nutrition Made Easy for Players and Parents and Feeding the Whole Family: Recipes for Babies, Young Children and Their Parents. She also hosts an online cooking show titled "Cookus Interruptus: How to Cook Fresh Local Organic Whole Foods Despite Life's Interruptions."
Cynthia is a nutritional instructor at Bastyr University, one of the world's leading academic centers for natural health sciences.

Recurring Events
The PSO hosts two annual meetings, one in the spring and one in the fall.
The PSO also hosts occasional “brown bag presentations.” To help plan or volunteer for the meetings, contact the Events Committee chair.
Community-Building Events
One of the PSO goals is to increase the opportunities for professional staff to meet and mingle. We‘re exploring such ideas as a baseball night, museum night, BBQ, symphony night, Husky sports event, comedy night, art walk, clothing drive, service day, and an evening at an interesting local establishment. Please watch for announcements for upcoming events.
