Guest Speaker: Sheridan Blau

Sheridan Blau is a Professor of English and Education at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). He is a Distinguished Senior Lecturer in the Arts & Humanities and Coordinator of the English Education Program at Teachers College, Columbia University. He is also a former President of the National Council of Teachers of English. His influential book (Heinemann, 2003)was named by the Conference on English Education as the winner of the 2004 Richard Meade Award for outstanding research in English education.
