Our goal at the Writing Center is to assist undergraduates with their Political Science, Jackson School of International Studies, and/or Law, Societies, and Justice writing assignments at any point during the writing process, from brainstorming to the final draft.

Our Center is staffed with undergraduate tutors drawn from all three departments that support the Center. Having been accepted as majors by at least one of the supporting departments, many of our tutors have successfully completed introductory coursework in all three. They are trained and ready to assist students organize their work so that it clearly and effectively communicates their ideas.

We are open Monday-Thursday, 9:30 am to 4:00 pm and Friday 9:30 am to 1:00 pm. We are located in Gowen 105, down the hallway from the main Political Science office (just past the faculty and TA mailboxes). While we encourage students to make appointments, we can often accommodate drop-ins as well.
