Patti Loesche, Ph.D., has been faculty director of the Psychology Writing Center since 1991. She oversees the writing center's services, recruits, trains, and supervises the graduate writing assistants, lectures on scientific writing, and consults on writing in the undergraduate psychology curriculum.

Writing assistants consult with each student about the nature of the assignment, carefully read as much of the draft as time permits, discuss the paper with the student, and serve as a resource on general writing issues.

The three Autumn 2005 writing assistants are all veterans from previous quarters: Christian Hendershot, Rebecca Schacht, and Jean Yi. All are graduate students in adult clinical psychology (we sometimes call what we do writing therapy...).
