This report has been submitted to FEMA Region IX as a final project report
for a project on developing new methodologies for Probabilistic Tsunami
Hazard Assessment (PTHA). We propose a methodology for taking a large number
of realizations of potential future earthquakes (with associated
probabilities) and producing good approximations to the resulting hazard
curves and maps without doing a computationally- expensive fine-grid tsunami
simulation for each realization.
