Sleep Fellowship Program
Application and Instructions
General Information
The Sleep Medicine Fellowship Training Program at the University of Washington selects from among eligible applicants on the basis of their preparedness and ability to benefit from the program. There is one fellowship position available annually.
This one-year Sleep Medicine Fellowship is designed for interested physicians who have already completed (or plan to complete) an ACGME accredited residency in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Neurology, Otolaryngology, Pediatrics or Psychiatry.
Considered in the selection process are aptitude, academic credentials, personal characteristics and communication skills.
Application Process
The following materials are required for consideration in the application process:
- Curriculum Vitae (include college education, postgraduate training, board certifications, state licenses, visa status, bibliography)
- 1 page statement of personal and career objectives
- USMLE scores
- Medical school dean's letter
- Letters of recommendation from at least three (3) individuals who have worked with and/or supervised your training.
Once the application is complete (as described above), application folders are reviewed by the Program Director and selection committee. After this review, a decision will be made as to whether to offer an interview.
