Sleep Fellowship Program

Overview

The University of Washington Sleep Medicine Fellowship Program offers an ACGME accredited clinical fellowship. This is a multi-disciplinary program involving faculty from pulmonary medicine, neurology, pediatrics, otolaryngology, dentistry and psychiatry that accepts applications from candidates who are board eligible in internal medicine, neurology, psychiatry, otolaryngology, pediatrics, family medicine or anesthesiology.

The goal of the UW Sleep Medicine Fellowship program is to provide outstanding multidisciplinary clinical training in the context of a one-year fellowship to candidates with high academic potential. A second goal is to provide training and experience in scholarly activities (teaching and/or research) in order to stimulate interest in life-long learning and academic medicine as a career.

The primary training site is the University of Washington Medicine Sleep Center located at Harborview Medical Center. Additional training sites include the clinics at University of Washington Medical Center and the Seattle Children's Hospital Sleep Center.
