CURRENT RESEARCH INTERESTS
My primary research focuses on improving the quality and delivery of care for patients with chronic lung diseases.  In particular, I am interested in primary pulmonary manifestations of tobacco smoke; COPD and more recently lung cancer.   My focus has been to examine the process and delivery of care, promote communication between patients and providers as well as examine the effects of pharmaceutical therapies on both pulmonary and non-pulmonary outcomes.
