Masters of Science in Genetic Epidemiology, University of Washington, Seattle, WA, 2005.

CURRENT RESEARCH INTERESTS
Genetic epidemiology of the innate immune response and its relationship to clinical phenotypes, such as infections and airway diseases. In particular, the pursuit of complex clinical phenotypes that occur after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, such as graft versus host disease, Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteremia, invasive fungal infection, viral infections, idiopathic pneumonia syndrome, overall lung function decline, and bronchiolitis obliterans.  The results of these studies will ultimately be translated to studies of more common clinical phenotypes such as sepsis, acute lung injury, and chronic airway diseases.
