CURRENT RESEARCH
INTERESTS
My research interests focus on improving long-term outcomes in lung transplant patients. I am currently conducting a longitudinal study to evaluate the prevalence and risk factors of psychological disease in lung transplant patients and their families. I am also interested in understanding the relationship between burden of psychological symptoms in lung transplant patients and the risk of poor medical adherence and worse long-term outcomes.
In addition, I am also interested in improving long-term outcomes by improving the selection criteria for lung allocation. I am currently working on modeling approaches to predict long-term survival after lung transplantation in order to better inform revisions to the Lung Allocation System (LAS).
