Research Focus
My career research focus has been the study of pulmonary gas exchange, with my most recent work utilizing both imaging techniques and microsphere deposition techniques to study the spatial distribution of regional ventilation and perfusion in a number of animal models. A second research interest has been study of the cardiovascular and pulmonary responses to exercise in both normal subjects and patients with pulmonary, cardiac and renal disorders.
