Lars Forberger

Lars Forberger received his B.S. degree in Chemistry from Free University of Berlin in 2018 after working on electrospinning of nanoparticle polymer composites as electrode materials under the supervision of Prof. Christina Roth. He subsequently went to the University of Gothenburg and obtained a M.S. degree in Chemistry in 2020 after researching ion-specific effects on colloidal stability in the group of Prof. Johan Bergenholtz. Lars joined the Pauzauskie group in autumn 2021 while pursuing a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Washington. His research interests include laser trapping and cooling of particles and the effects of optical resonances on the former.
