Special LGBT Dawg Daze Events

Each Fall, the UW celebrates the new school year with its "Dawg Daze" week. It's a tradition geared towards welcoming the new class of students to campus, and to the University District with events, orientations, and community-building parties! This year Dawg Daze is from Sunday, September 21 through Saturday, September 27, 2008.

You can check out the whole UW's set of events and plans at the official Dawg Daze website. The Q Center and GBLTC are organizing a set of events geared specifically towards LGBTQA students! Here's what's happening:

• Sexuality, Gender, and Treads: OH MY!
  Tuesday, Sept 23rd at 10, 12, and 2pm
  At the Q Center (450 Schmitz Hall)  
   
• GBLTC Cosmic Bowling
  Thursday, Sept 25th from 7-10pm
  At the HUB Games Area  
   
• Welcome Luncheon
  Friday, Sept 26th from 12-1:30pm
  In the Walker-Ames Room in Kane Hall 
   
• GBLTC Queer Roller Skating
  Friday, Sept 26th from 7-9pm
  At the IMA
