QERM: An Interdisciplinary Graduate Program

College of the Environment (COE) - Launched July 2009, the College is a world-class environmental hub focused on improved understanding of the interactions of the earth's environment and human activities. Grants and contracts in excess of $74 million annually support world-renowned research on climate; marine, earth, and space processes; ecology; and natural resource management.

QERM's Relationship with the College of the Environment - As an interdisciplinary graduate program, many faculty affiliated with the QERM program hold their primary appointment in the College of the Environment (COE) academic units. In addition, faculty from the departments of biology, statistics, applied mathematics, sociology and anthropology serve on the QERM faculty.
