QRC comprises an active group of adjunct faculty from the departments of Anthropology, Atmospheric Sciences, Biology, Forest Resources, Earth & Space Sciences, Oceanography, and Civil and Environmental Engineering.

QRC-associated faculty have earned numerous awards for their work, a partial list of which includes a MacArthur 'Genius' Fellowship, the Kirk Bryan, Distinguished Career and Penrose Medal awards from the Geological Society of America, the Seligman Crystal from the International Glaciological Society, the Pomerance Award from the Archaeological Institute of America, and membership in the National Academy of Sciences.
