The CDC National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) and AcademyHealth fellowship program brings visiting scholars in health services research-related disciplines to the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) to conduct studies of interest to policymakers and the health services research community.

Australian-American Health Policy Fellowship Program
On behalf of the Australian Department of Health and Ageing, The Commonwealth Fund is pleased to announce the Australian-American Health Policy Fellowships Program (formerly Packer Policy Fellowship). This program offers a unique opportunity for outstanding, mid-career U.S. health policy researchers and practitioners to spend up to 10 months in Australia conducting original research and working with leading Australian health policy experts on issues relevant to both countries.

Health Research Training Program - NYC Department of Health
The program provides students the opportunity to experience some of the "real life" challenges of public health. Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowships - UW Jackson School
Academic-year FLAS fellowships are awarded for language and area studies relating to Canada, East Asia, the Middle East, Russia, East Europe and Central Asia, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and West Europe.

Louis Stokes Fellows Urban Health Policy Program
The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation's Louis Stokes Urban Health Policy Fellowship Program (LSUHPFP) was created in 2003 as an educational, leadership development program for minority health policy professionals. The LSUHPFP is designed around three components: public policy training, educational enrichment, and leadership development.

The Walter H. Global Partnerships Travel Grant
The travel grant funds graduate students to conduct research or service with a public health focus in a developing country. RAND Graduate Student Summer Associate Program
RAND's Graduate Student Summer Associate Program introduces outstanding graduate students to RAND, an institution that conducts research on a wide range of national security problems and domestic and international social policy issues. Students receive a stipend and are given the opportunity to conduct research that can be completed during the three months they are at RAND.

Eligibility: The program is designed for fulltime students who have completed at least two years of graduate work leading to a doctorate or professional degree (e.g., law or medical degree, professional engineer certificate). Most of RAND's professional hiring is at the PhD level, so we orient our summer program toward individuals who are generally within a year or two of completing their doctorates. However, sometimes there are projects that match with the skills of graduate students in other stages of their education who also have significant work experience.
