Multicultural Outreach & Recruitment

Description

Our priority is the health and safety of our students and community. This year we will be hosting iDUB in a virtual format. Though we are moving in a virtual setting, we plan to deliver the same valuable content as we would in-person. If you do not have access to a laptop or reliable Wi-Fi to participate in our virtual conference, please contact us at reach@uw.edu.

iDUB Conference is a one-day virtual conference for underrepresented high school seniors (Class of 2022) in Washington who are interested in attending the University of Washington in Seattle for the 2022 Autumn Quarter. The program focuses its resources on serving the following underrepresented minority groups: American Indian/Alaska Native, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander, and Southeast Asian.

The iDUB Conference will include workshops to prepare you to apply to the University of Washington, experience the University of Washington, meet admissions counselors and much more.

Note: Participation is open to all students regardless of race/ethnic background.

Target Group

Washington high school seniors (Class of 2022) from underrepresented backgrounds (American Indian/Alaska Native, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander, and Southeast Asian).
