Underrepresented Middle School and High School Southeast Asian and Asian Americans. Consideration will be given first to students with ethnic heritages from underrepresented Asian groups.
Rising SEAs is a conference hosted by the University of Washington Office of Minority Affairs & Diversity to encourage and foster the leadership of underrepresented Southeast Asians and other Asian Americans.

*Underrepresented Southeast Asian students are defined but not limited to the following ethnic heritages: Khmer, Khmer Loeu, Khmer Krom, Hmong, Mien, Khmu, Lao, Taidam, Tai Lue, Vietnamese, Cham, Montagnards, Karen; this group also includes students from Bhutanese and Burmese heritages.
