American Indian & Alaskan Native high school students interested in attending the University of Washington

Description

Native American Student Day (NASD) is an annual two-day, overnight conference for Native high school seniors who are interested in attending the University of Washington-Seattle campus. NASD was created to encourage Native students to pursue higher education, as well as give them a glimpse of life on a college campus. The first day of the conference will consist of interactive workshops that will help prepare their UW application, explore majors and learn about resources available through the Office of Minority Affairs & Diversity. The second day will consist of informative presentations, guest speakers, and cultural performances.

Room accommodations and meals are paid for as long as students are registered to attend NASD. We are not responsible for and cannot pay for any travel incurred expenses.

NOTE: Students who are registered for NASD, are expected to attend BOTH days of the conference
