This event is designed to recognize and congratulate students with outstanding academic record and financial need, who have been granted admission to the University of Washington, and have received a Costco Diversity Scholarship--$7,000 each year for four years, with a total value of $28,000. These students along with their parents are invited to campus for a 1-day program, to learn more about the University and the programs it has to offer. This event may be just the ticket to help these students determine if Washington is the school for them. This award is privately funded by the generous contributions of many individuals and organizations. UW's more than 200 Diversity Scholars, are making a difference at our institution, and are distinguishing themselves both through academic achievements and as leaders.
