Multicultural Outreach & Recruitment

Description

Our priority is the health and safety of our students and community. U to You will be hosted in a virtual format. Though we are moving to a virtual setting, we plan to deliver the same valuable content as we would in-person. If you do not have access to a laptop or reliable Wi-Fi to participate, please contact us at reach@uw.edu.

U to You is a one-day virtual conference for prospective transfer students from Washington community colleges interested in applying to the University of Washington in Seattle. The conference will feature sessions to help you prepare to apply and learn more about financial aid, student life, and much more.

Target Group

Prospective transfer students attending Washington community colleges from underrepresented minority backgrounds (African American/Black, American Indian/Alaska Native, Hispanic/Latino, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander, or Southeast Asian, as well as students identifying as low income, first-generation, undocumented, or alumni of the foster care system).

Prospective transfer students attending Big Bend Community College, Columbia Basin College, Walla Walla Community College, Wenatchee Valley College and Yakima Valley College.

Note: Participation is open to all domestic Washington community college students.
