When you run the audit, this will appear:

NO  Social Welfare: Honors Requirement
    Your adviser must signal completion of this requirement.
    (If you do not intend to complete Departmental Honors, you
    MUST contact your adviser to have this requirement
    removed. Your degree will not be granted otherwise.)

When the student has completed all requirements and can graduate with departmental honors, use this
trick to signal completion in the audit:
