Research
Dr. Deitz’s research interests include pediatric occupational therapy especially as related to the use of assistive technology and the development and evaluation of tests and measurements.

Teaching
Dr. Deitz teaches courses related to pediatric occupational therapy theory and practice, research methods, and measurement. In addition, she leads graduate seminars and supervises students involved in teaching practica and research (projects, theses, and dissertations).

Training
Dr. Deitz earned her Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Puget Sound and her Ph.D. in Education, focusing on adult education, pediatrics, research methods, and measurement.
