Kevin Hakimi , MD

Patient Care
Dr. Hakimi’s clinical interests include electromyography, botulinum toxin injection, cardiac rehabilitation, amputee care and musculoskeletal medicine. Dr Hakimi’s clinical activities are based at the VA Puget Sound Health Care System.

Teaching
Dr. Hakimi is involved in daily teaching with the residents in the University of Washington Rehabilitation Medicine Program and also teaches weekly resident lectures on EMG, cardiac rehabilitation and musculoskeletal medicine. He is also involved in teaching medical students from the University of Washington School of Medicine who are doing Rehabilitation Medicine clerkships.

Training
Dr. Hakimi received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biopsychology from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and medical degree at Wayne State University. Following that, he completed a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation ant the University of Washington in Seattle.
