Cynthia A. Robinson, PT, MS

Lecturer
Physical Therapy

Patient Care
Ms. Robinson has 18 years of patient care experience in acute and rehabilitation settings. She also has international patient care experience in Eastern Europe and Africa.

Teaching
Ms. Robinson serves as Academic Coordinator of Clinical Education in the Physical Therapy Curriculum. In this role she maintains affiliation agreements with internship sites and assists PT students in planning their clinical experiences. In addition, she co-teaches several foundational and functional courses, including REHAB 448 (Applied Kinesiology Lab), REHAB 540 (Acute Care PT), REHAB 509 (Functional Mobility Skills), REHAB 528 (International Clerkship), REHAB 536 (Patient Evaluation and Clinical Decision Making), and REHAB 538 (Integumentary, Edema Management and Circulatory Screening).

Training
Ms. Robinson earned her Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from Ithaca College and her Master's degree in Adult Neurologic Rehabilitation from Long Island University with a minor in Administration. She is currently enrolled in the PhD in Rehabilitation Science Program at UW.

Research
Research interests include mechanisms underlying mobility problems in the neurologic populations and clinical methods for assessing and retraining community walking.
