Patient Care
Dr. Washington provides services to high risk infants, school
age children and their families in interdisciplinary clinics.
Teaching
Dr. Washington co-teaches the first lifespan course and pediatric courses, and teaches the graduate project seminar course.
Research
Research interests include the development of postural control
in infants and children, the early identification of neuromotor
abnormality, adaptive seating for children with disabilities,
and single-subject research design.
Training
Dr. Washington earned her Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
at Marquette University, her Master's degree in Exceptional
Education at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and her
Ph.D. in Special Education/Rehabilitation Medicine from the
University of Washington.
