The University of Washington School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The University of Washington School of Medicine designates this educational activity for a maximum of 48 category 1 credits toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award.  Each physician should claim only those credits that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

The general objectives for the July 2006 - June 2007  series are the following:

  • Assess complex rehabilitation problems from a multidisciplinary perspective.
  • Understand the anatomy, pathophysiology, and treatment approaches for common musculoskeletal problems.
  • Review core concepts, techniques, and interpretation of electrodiagnostic testing.
  • Update one's knowledge base in key areas of physical medicine and rehabilitation.
