This table contains the numeric code entered in the Student Database to indicate the status of a student's application for admission to the University. The student database translates the code into the three letter abbreviation and/or the full descriptive name depending on the space available on the student database screen reflecting the information. For example, the information seen on the Student Database may be "REC" or it may be "Appl Received" depending on the space available on the particular screen viewed. The application status code changes as the application is processed until the student is either admitted or denied. These codes allow the Admissions department to track applicants through each step of the admission process.
