Documentation - UW SDB

NOTE - As of Dec. 09, no new accounts have been granted on the UWSDB system. Instead, accounts are granted on the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW). Learn more on the Decision Support website.

UWSDB is a relational database which is a snapshot of the student data meant for ad hoc research. It is not meant to be a direct data source for high-demand, high-availability applications. (If you need data on a 24x7, high availability basis, please contact Data Management to discuss options.) It is hosted on the SQL 2005 server SDBSQLC1DB1

An account request form can be found at UW Information Technology's Decision Support website.
