Data Coordinating Center for the NICHD Neonatal Research Network (U24)

Limited Submissions

This funding opportunity announcement (FOA) invites applications from institutions/organizations willing to participate with the NICHD as the Data Coordinating Center (DCC) under a cooperative agreement in an ongoing multi-center research network designed to perform observational and interventional clinical studies, using common protocols, to improve outcomes for neonates.     

Application Instructions

Please submit:

  • a 1-to-2 page letter of intent with a description of proposed aims and approach
  • Biosketch or CV of the PI
  • a letter of support from the Dean or Chair. This letter of support signifies that the Dean or Chair have ensured that the nominee and application are likely to be of sufficient quality to be competitive nationally

 

to research@uw.edu by 5:00 PM Thursday, June 8, 2017. Proposals are due to the sponsor 6/30/17, so you will need to have your materials in to the Office of Sponsored Programs by 6/22/17 for processing, if given the go ahead by the Proposal Review Committee.

$0 (NICHD intends to commit $6.7 million in total costs in FY 2018 to fund 1 award. Future year amounts will depend on annual appropriations. Application budgets are not limited but need to reflect the actual needs of the proposed project. )
