Development of Curricular or Training Activities in Laboratory Safety (Admin Supp Clinical Trial Not Allowed)
The National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS) announces the availability of funds for Administrative Supplements to NIGMS-funded predoctoral T32 training grants. These funds are designed to provide support for the development and implementation of curricular or training activities aimed at providing trainees with the knowledge and skills to enhance laboratory safety. The funds are designed to promote the reworking and revitalization of biomedical predoctoral research education and training.
Application Instructions
Please submit:
- a one-page letter of intent with a description of proposed aims and approach
- Biosketch or CV of the PI
to research@uw.edu by 10:00 PM Thursday, May 3, 2018. Full proposals are due to the sponsor 5/18/18, so you will need to have your materials in to OSP by 5/10/18 for processing, if given the go-ahead by the review committee.

Investigators who identify a grant, award or fellowship program that restricts the number of applications that can be submitted from an Institution should immediately contact their Chairperson, Associate Dean for Research (or Dean, if no ADR) and the Office of Research (see below) if they intend to prepare a response. Failure to do so, or to meet the deadlines for submission of pre-proposal, will preclude submission of the application through the Office of Sponsored Programs.
