Pediatric Cancer Research Grants

Purpose of the Awards

  1. The V Foundation seeks to support translational research projects within the scope of pediatric cancer research. Translational projects should move a novel strategy from the laboratory into a human clinical trial or use specimens from a clinical trial to develop biomarkers or mechanisms.
  2. The Pediatric V Scholar Award supports young tenure-track faculty early in their cancer research career by funding projects that are either laboratory-based discovery research or translational research.

Application Instructions

Fred Hutch Internal Pre-Proposal Deadline.  Interested investigators must submit a pre-proposal to the Office of Sponsored Research by this time to be considered by the Internal Awards Committee.

Eligible investigators must submit the following pre-proposal materials as a single PDF with the following naming convention:
Candidate’s Last Name_2022_VFoundationPedsTranslational_Award.pdf

                                          OR

Candidate’s Last Name_2022_VFoundationPedsScholar_Award.pdf

  • 1-2 pages of proposed research
  • Current curriculum vitae or biosketch
  • Optional cover letter with valuable information for the panel
