International Center for Ethics, Justice and Public Life -- Richman Fellowship and Gittler Prize
Note: This is not a limited submission and is being sent out as a courtesy only.
The Richman Fellowship recognizes individuals active in public life whose contributions have had a significant impact on improving American society, strengthening democratic institutions, advancing social justice or increasing opportunities for all citizens to realize and share in the benefits of this nation.
The Gittler Prize annually honors an individual who has made outstanding and lasting scholarly contributions to racial, ethnic and/or religious relations. The award includes a cash prize of $25,000 and a medal. The prize and medal are presented at a ceremony that includes a reception and a public lecture by the recipient on the Brandeis University campus.
Application Instructions
Candidates must be formally nominated using the online form. Self-nominations are not permitted.
Inquiries and Contact Information
Investigators who identify a grant, award or fellowship program that restricts the number of applications that can be submitted from an Institution should immediately contact their Chairperson, Associate Dean for Research (or Dean, if no ADR) and the Office of Research (see below) if they intend to prepare a response. Failure to do so, or to meet the deadlines for submission of pre-proposal, will preclude submission of the application through the Office of Sponsored Programs.
For general inquiries, or to request a listing of a limited submission opportunity that should be but is not already listed, please email us at limitedsubs@uw.edu.
