Scialog: Molecular Basis of Cognition
This new Scialog initiative will bring together early career scientists from multiple disciplines to devise new ways to probe the chemistry, biology, physics, and computational science that underlie short-term and long-term memory and other cognitive processes, in both biological and abiological contexts.
Approximately 50 early-career faculty will be invited to participate as Fellows, with early career spanning the time from the first year on the faculty through recently post-tenure. The essence of Scialog is the dialogue among the Fellows. The first meeting in this series of three will be October 13-16, 2022, in Tucson, AZ.

Inquiries and Contact Information
Investigators who identify a grant, award or fellowship program that restricts the number of applications that can be submitted from an Institution should immediately contact their Chairperson, Associate Dean for Research (or Dean, if no ADR) and the Office of Research (see below) if they intend to prepare a response. Failure to do so, or to meet the deadlines for submission of pre-proposal, will preclude submission of the application through the Office of Sponsored Programs.
For general inquiries, or to request a listing of a limited submission opportunity that should be but is not already listed, please email us at limitedsubs@uw.edu.
