Clinical Trial Outreach Mission Grant
Note: Fred Hutch is managing the limited submission review for this opportunity. Contact them directly at: fundinginfo@fredhutch.org
The objective of the 2022 V Foundation Clinical Trial Outreach Mission Grant is to support outreach efforts for Black/African American communities that are currently underrepresented in clinical trials and disproportionately affected by cancer. The V Foundation and ESPN are very aware that racial disparities undermine public health, including cancer. Black/African Americans have the highest death rate and shortest length of survival of any racial ethnic group for most cancers. Concerned about these disparities, we’ve partnered together to fund this clinical trial outreach initiative. These Mission Grants will fund Clinical Trial Outreach projects that increase clinical trial enrollment for all populations; but are also expected to contain specific outreach to the Black/African American population.
