Cybersecurity Workforce Development Grant

The National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity (NCAE-C) Program is soliciting grants for NCAE-C leadership and management in relation to cybersecurity workforce development as described below.

Workforce Development, Designated NCAE-C Institution Coalitions, FY2020 Workforce Development Grantees – Continuation: The three coalitions of designated CAE-C institutions currently managing workforce development programs are invited to propose continuation and potential expansion of their workforce development programs commencing in the fall of 2023. Each coalition lead institution will receive the grant and issue sub-awards to approved project participants. Coalition lead proposals will identify participating coalition members in their proposal and may include new partner institutions. Grants will have a performance period of 24 months. Proposals should include a description of other support sources and partners to continue the coalition’s work at the end of this period.

Workforce Development, Designated NCAE-C Institution Coalitions – NEW: At least one new coalition will be awarded a two-year grant to pilot an additional workforce development program. The coalition lead institution will receive the grant and issue sub-awards to approved coalition participants. Proposals must identify proposed sub-awardees, and must include at least one partner university and one community college. Preference will be given to a coalition representing a broad geographic area. Grants will have a performance period of 24 months.

  2. If the final application requires a diversity statement or statement of broader impacts, please summarize your plans to address the specific requirements on an additional page.
  3. CV (not biosketch) of the PI.

to limitedsubs@uw.edu by 5:00 PM Wednesday, April 12, 2023. Proposals are due to the sponsor 5/5/2023, so you will need to have your materials in to the Office of Sponsored Programs by 4/26/2023 if given the go‐ahead by the Limited Submissions review committee.
